What we believe
Your code is yours
Optimization runs locally. We never receive your prompts, your source, or the model's replies. A tool that needs to see your codebase to save you money is the wrong trade.
Compression must be honest
For data and text, what the model receives decodes back to the exact bytes. For code, elision is opt-in and exactly recoverable — never a lossy summary passed off as the real thing.
Numbers over adjectives
We show local token estimates to help you decide, and we label them as estimates. Billed usage is metered separately. We don't dress one up as the other.
Independent by construction
Densilo is its own runtime. It doesn't route your traffic through a third party or depend on someone else's optimizer to do its job.
How it started
Densilo grew out of a simple frustration: the bill for agentic coding is dominated by context that gets resent, not by the answers you actually need. The fix didn't have to live in the cloud — it could live next to you, on your machine, where your code already is.
So that's where we built it. A small local proxy that trims the fat before a request ever leaves your computer, with a dashboard that proves it, and a gateway that meters only what it must to bill you fairly.
